Antyodaya Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization inspired by the age-old wisdom that “To Serve The Underprivileged is To Serve The God”, We are committed to effecting positive transformations in the lives of underprivileged people in rural areas.
Key areas of focus encompass education and academic development, livelihood skills training, addressing inequalities in society, bolstering up lives of handicapped, orphans, and Old age citizens, and providing livelihood support to distressed families in rural areas.
Our approach centers around the development of cost-effective, innovative strategies and the adoption of new-age technologies to bridge societal gaps and harness the full potential of government initiatives.
A young initiative, the journey began with the setting up of toy banks in 2019 and the modest goal of assisting 1,000 families in 2023-24, and we harbor an ambitious vision of reaching the remarkable milestone of 10,000 families in just five years.
Antyodaya Foundation has rapidly grown its presence in over 1,100 villages across eight states, developed a robust grassroots network for our projects, supported by government school volunteer teachers for the final stage of outreach, without any financial burden, placing us in a unique position, which presents immense opportunity for expansion of this social cause.
Founded in February 2019, the initiative finds its inspiration from the Founder Trustee’s Father and Elder Brother. These role models worked relentlessly for the upliftment of underprivileged families. In recognition of their service towards these social initiatives, the Government of India conferred the prestigious Padma Shri Award to Shri M L Mehta in the year 2015 (Former Chief Secretary, Rajasthan and elder brother of Founder Trustee Mr Mahendra Mehta ).
The Antyodaya Foundation has a unified resolve to reach as many rural villages as possible, out of more than 6,49,000 villages of India, with their efforts to transform, elevate, make a positive difference in their livelihood, and uplift the families of these regions.
